A Viability Assessment is undertaken in order to determine whether any identified risk can be appropriately managed within our residential setting.

There are two ways in which we can complete the viability:

• A full viability assessment, which includes meeting with the referrers and the parents, in conjunction with the paper review.
• A free paper review, this includes the reading of no more than 5 key documents pertinent to the case which outline the background history and the presenting risks and concerns.

Should it be agreed, following a full Viability Assessment that the parent would benefit from a Residential Parenting Assessment, a discount from the residential fee cost would be offered towards the final cost.
